Research Interests: My research interests revolve around using quantitative tools to developing quantitative tools to explore biological processes at different scales.  Currently, I'm working in imaging and quantifying intracellular delivery processes at the single-molecule level, with the goal of exogenous labeling of intracellular targets in live cells.

Personal Interests: In my spare time I like spending time with my family, reading (current topics of interest: history of karate & effective teaching/learning methods), listening to podcasts, experimenting with cooking, and learning karate. I am also interested in (and actively trying to learn and read about) the topics of education, data science, and writing.

Awards: 2016 Bioengineering Teaching Excellence Fellowship (University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign)
