Prof. Andrew M. Smith
Andrew Smith is a Professor of Bioengineering, Materials Science & Engineering, and Technology Entrepreneurship at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and of Medicine at the Carle Illinois College of Medicine. He received a B.S. in Chemistry and a Ph.D. in Bioengineering, both from the Georgia Institute of Technology. He was a Whitaker Foundation Fellow as a graduate student and NIH K99 Fellow during his postdoctoral training at Emory University.
